1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the In Light and Memory online store.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

In Light and Memory sells photographic art prints and other photographic artworks to consumers within the European Union.

2. Products

Each artwork is professionally produced according to the product specifications shown on the relevant product page.

Standard products are available in the sizes and specifications stated on the website.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly between the image displayed on screen and the finished printed artwork due to differences between screens, printing materials and viewing conditions.

Custom sizes may be requested through our contact form. Custom orders are produced according to the specifications agreed with the customer before production begins.

3. Prices

All prices shown in the online store are in euros and include applicable VAT.

Any applicable delivery charges are shown before the customer places an order.

In Light and Memory reserves the right to change prices and product information. Changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Orders and Contract

An order is placed when the customer completes the checkout process and submits the order.

After an order has been placed, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email.

In Light and Memory reserves the right to contact the customer if there is an obvious error in the product information, price or availability.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout.

Payment must be completed when the order is placed unless otherwise stated.

6. Production and Fulfilment

Artwork is professionally produced and shipped by our trusted production partner, WhiteWall, Germany.

The customer purchases the artwork from In Light and Memory. WhiteWall acts as our production and fulfilment partner.

7. Delivery

We currently deliver orders within the European Union.

Delivery information, estimated delivery times and applicable delivery terms are described in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing goods online.

The right of withdrawal and its exceptions are described in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Consumers may exercise their right of withdrawal using the Right of Withdrawal function available on our website, or by another clear notice of withdrawal.

9. Defective or Damaged Products

If an artwork arrives damaged, is defective, or otherwise does not conform to the order, please contact us at inlightandmemory@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Your statutory consumer rights concerning defective or non-conforming products are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

10. Intellectual Property

All photographs, artwork, images, texts, logos and other content published on the In Light and Memory website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a print does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the underlying artwork to the customer.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any statutory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.

Mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer's country of residence remain unaffected.
